I do hope that you will enjoy this rendition of “Sleigh Ride”. I hope that it will inspire many of you, who have been taking piano lessons to remain steadfast…. it WILL pay off in the long-run. Those of you who do not take piano, please consider it. It will help you through out your whole life!!!!! Believe me!

Congratulations are extended to our Choir student who has achieved State status: Blake Jennings, Jr., Texas All-State Mixed Choir 2011.
He auditioned at the final competition this past Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011, at TAMU-Commerce for a spot in the All-State Choir 2011. Blake competed against a really tough vocal section, and was selected to the top Choir in the State, the Texas All-State Mixed Choir.
There were several thousand Texan vocalists that began this process back in August of 2010, and several competition levels later, there are only 224 All-State Mixed Choir members! And our very own Blake Jennings earned this prestigious accomplishment.
This is not the first time that Blake has made an All-State Choir; he competed last year, and was chosen into the top group then, as well, making him a now 2-yr member of the All-State Mixed Choir.
We don’t want to brag too much, but when this sort of thing happens, it is worth bragging about!
Blake will be performing at the Texas Music Educator’s Association Convention in the San Antonio, Tx. Convention Center Ballroom A on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Noon. We invite any of his friends, and family to join us in attending his concert. Come help us celebrate his success!
